“One of the key metrics we look at is free cash flow to net income. It’s not just what is on a company’s balance sheet today, it’s what is going to be on their balance sheet over the next few years.”
“We look for companies that are generating cash and that will do better over time.”
“Companies always have more options when they have a lot of cash on the balance sheet. They can reinvest it in the business, make acquisitions or return the cash to shareholders in the form of dividends or a special dividend.”
