Nicole is responsible for implementing and executing operational due diligence mandates across Atrato Consulting’s client base.  She has over 25 years of experience in front, middle, and back-office operations, and has focused on both alternative and traditional investment management firms over the course of her career.

Prior to joining the Atrato Consulting team at FLP, Nicole held senior operational due diligence consulting roles at Kroll/Duff & Phelps and RVK, Inc, where she evaluated operational risks of private equity, venture, private credit, real asset, hedge funds, and traditional asset managers on behalf of a range of institutional and ultra-high net worth clients.  She also worked for over two decades in various operational and trading-related roles, including 15 years at TCW Group, LLC.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Pepperdine University, and in 2023 earned an MSc Financial Compliance and Risk Management from Albany Law School (summa cum laude). She sits on the Board of Directors for the Cultural Coalition of Washington County in her home state of Oregon. She is also a board member on the Portland Alternative Investment Association (PAIA).  Nicole volunteers as a mentor for American Corporate Partners, which helps US military veterans find careers following their service.
