Keith Elflein

Principal, Managing Director of Quantitative Strategies, Portfolio Manager

Mr. Elflein is the Director of Quantitative Analysis and is responsible for management of the firm’s Small/Mid Income and Equity Income Strategy. Mr. Elflein develops and manages investment portfolios with a focus on traditional and alternative methods for income generation.

From 2013-2018, Keith served as senior portfolio manager for Boston Private Wealth’s Equity Income and Small/Midcap Income Strategies. He also designed, built and analyzed the quantitative risk and valuations models underlying those strategies, as well as conducted fundamental research. Prior to joining Boston Private Wealth, Keith served as Director of Domestic Equity Research for Silver Bridge Capital LLC, which was acquired by Banyan Partners and then Boston Private Wealth in 2014.

Keith was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy and served aboard the attack submarine USS Hartford from 2001-2003 during Operation Enduring Freedom. He is fully trained in Corporate Credit Risk Analysis by Standard & Poor’s and speaks fluent German.
