Brian is responsible for the leadership and growth of F.L.Putnam’s investment consulting practice, Atrato Consulting. Prior to joining FLP, Brian was the Founder and Managing Partner of Atrato Advisors LLC, which was acquired by FLP in August, 2021.
For the past 20 years, Brian held senior leadership roles in building and directing alternative investment research and advisory businesses within global private wealth management and asset management firms. Prior to founding Atrato Advisors, he was the Director of Research for Cantor Advisors LP, the asset management division of Cantor Fitzgerald & Company. Previously, Brian was the Global Head of Hedge Fund Research for Deutsche Bank’s Private Wealth Management division, where he oversaw the construction, development, and manager selection for the bank’s multi-billion dollar global open-architecture hedge fund advisory platform.
Brian supports several charitable endeavors, most enthusiastically an effort to bring baseball equipment to youth players in rural Panama. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University (1996) and a Master of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University (2001). Brian is fluent in Spanish.
