Monica joined FLP as Managing Director, Private Client Group, where she continues to lead her local team, serves as a trusted advisor to individuals and families with complex wealth management needs, and develops new business opportunities throughout the region and the community she loves. Known for her thoughtful, client-first approach, Monica has spent more than three decades helping families make sound financial decisions while building relationships grounded in trust, objectivity, and long-term partnership.
Monica values the relationships she builds with both clients and colleagues, some of which span multiple decades, and believes genuinely taking care of clients is the only way to truly succeed as a wealth manager.
Prior to joining the firm, Monica led an independent wealth management firm, Seascape Capital Management, LLC, for over twenty years. In her most recent role as CEO, she drove the firm through a period of transformational growth, increasing assets under management more than fivefold while preserving its personalized, fiduciary approach to client service.
Earlier in her career, Monica founded and served as Chief Investment Officer of two Boston-based wealth management firms, building each in the family office tradition before joining Seascape. Her analytical background includes the development of a proprietary quantitative stock-ranking system that strengthened the firm’s investment process and reflected her passion for combining rigorous research with practical portfolio management.
Monica earned an MBA with a concentration in Taxation from the University of South Carolina and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia. She was awarded the CFA® Charter in 1993, earned the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) designation in 2012, and was awarded the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation in 2016, reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning and providing clients with specialized expertise.
Outside the office, Monica enjoys cycling throughout the Seacoast and spending time with her yellow Lab. She is a longtime supporter of organizations including the New Hampshire SPCA and Cross Roads House and spent many years riding the Pan-Mass Challenge to raise funds for cancer research.
